RUPTURE DISCS SKiTM

The dynamic backpressure at the outlet of the rupture diaphragm affects the correct functionality of the safety device. An omission or error in consideration of backpressure can increase the burst pressure and compromise the entire pressure protected system. The new SKi™ type of reverse rupture disc offers a unique design that eliminates the need for a "double disc assembly" to isolate differential back pressure.

Two membrane rupture elements are housed in one device. The process side of the diaphragm is calibrated to the desired rupture pressure, while the outlet side of the disc and a small volume with atmospheric pressure between the two rupture elements isolates the process from the dynamic pressure behind the rupture disc.

The space with atmospheric pressure between two rupture elements can be monitored by tell-tale indication or by an integrated sensor with optical indication.

PEKOS BALL VALVES FOR STEAM

Extension of stock of PEKOS ball valves in floating ball design with PTFE and fibreglass seats up to DN300 (12"). The valves have high wear and abrasion resistance and excellent thermal properties. These ball valves are suitable for a wide range of steam plants and applications.

REALIZED PROJECTS

PNEUMATIC ACTUATORS WITH ACCESSORIES

One of our April projects involved the supply and design of a technical solution for pneumatic actuation for DN200/PN40 eccentric valves. These were Airtorque quick-closing pneumatic actuator assemblies with closing times of up to 1s. We used accessories to our standards - Rotech end sensors, Asco solenoid valves and Rotork Gears manual gearboxes.
